  13. RightBrain Software introduces ExactlyWrite
  14.  
  15. San Francisco, May 25 - Today at NeXTWORLD Expo, RightBrain Software
  16. introduced a new low-cost, mainstream word processor for the NEXTSTEP
  17. environment, dubbed ExactlyWrited. RightBrain is developing ExactlyWrite for
  18. the cross-platform enterprise document processing needs of both Intel and NeXT
  19. users.

  21. "We can read and write files from WriteNow, and we hope to become the standard
  22. format for sending documents around in the NEXTSTEP community," said Glenn
  23. Reid, president and founder of RightBrain Software. "At only $129 retail, with
  24. substantial discounts per seat at large installations, we offer an extremely
  25. low-cost and effective solution for word processing," Reid added.

  27. ExactlyWrite was not derived from PasteUp, RightBrain's high-end page layout
  28. application. Instead, it was written from scratch using the NEXTSTEP Text
  29. object, which provides support for drag-and-drop color and graphics, built-in
  30. spell-checking, and works seamlessly in European languages and Kanji.

  32. "ExactlyWrite won't provide some of the more sophisticated typographic and
  33. document features available in PasteUp, but hey, it's fast, it's cheap, and
  34. it's what we think people really want on a day-to-day basis," Reid said.

  36. RightBrain Software is an application software company located in Palo Alto,
  37. California. RightBrain, a privately held company, was founded in 1990 to
  38. develop publishing software for the NEXTSTEP operating system, and is
  39. currently one of the leading software developers for NEXTSTEP and the premier
